We stopped overnight in Lille after a Euro trip, on our way back to the UK by ferry. In the morning, we walked around the Old Town which is absolutely stunning and were looking for a proper cooked breakfast with eggs and avocado. We came across Paddo, and it was completely full, which is always a good sign. The staff kindly sent us to their other branch nearby, which is slightly bigger, but even there we had around a 30-minute wait. That alone told us this place is very popular. If you’re visiting Lille, this is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss. The interior is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a really pleasant atmosphere. The food is original and delicious, and the coffee is just as excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by!

The avo-feta is out. of. this. world. Oh my gosh I am still thinking about it. The eggs were perfect, too!! We sat outside and it was a lovely day. Bit busy and took a minute to get seated and our food, but so worth it.

The café was super close to our hotel, so we tried it out for Sunday breakfast. Very happy that we did so. Best coffee I’ve had so far in Lille, and food portions were more than we could handle. We will definitely dine here again if we are in the area.
