Nice atmosphere and in a nice area. The food was good but the cooking of the meat could be improved. My partner requested medium well cooked and it was more like rare; I requested medium and it was blue. As for the veal, it was barely seared and raw all the way through. The meat was paired with fresh salad leaves and some nicely cooked chips, the mushroom sauce to pair was very good and highlighted the mushroom flavour and complimented the dish well. For dessert we had profiteroles which were amazing, lovely ice cream and rich chocolate sauce with a crunchy yet soft biscuit-like pastry. I’d go

Quite a good eating house. Many of the employees are on apprenticeship courses which the business quite obviously profits from. The dishes rather on the light size considering the amount of free employment they use. Clients of all age groups.

We had a meat platter each - 3 different cuts of beef and one of pork, all cooked and seasoned to perfection. Quite busy with locals, we arrived at 7pm sharp to get a table without a reservation. Big list of puddings - the millefeuille and the coffee religieuse were amazing.
