This was the best meal of my trip to France. The restaurant is small and non descript from the outside, but the food is top tier. I had a five course menu with two glasses of wine, and spent less than $70! There are at least two choices with each course, and different levels of menu. I believe it is Michelin Bib Gourmand rated. It is in the Part Dieu area, not the Lyon hot spot, but worth a trip no matter where you're staying!

Be aware that the menu will likely contain allergens such as nuts etc. Glasses of wine for circa €10. An amazing meal. The value is exceptional and the food great. We chose the 3 course menu, and all dishes were fantastic. The food itself I would call modern French. The service is attentive and professional but relaxed. This is not a formal restaurant but more relaxed ambiance with top quality food. One of the best value for money restaurants I have visited in a long time. Do come here, you will not be disappointed.

Danton was our first dinning place after arrived in Lyon. Even though there wasn't any English menu but it made us more thrilled. The food was great. They were full of variety of flavours perfectly integrated together from sours, sweet, fruity, saltiness etc. We loved everything. My wife usually dislike to consume beef and fish but she surprisingly enjoy those dishes at Danton. We can feel the Chef's passion and commitment behind each dish presented to us.
