After many beer nights in their lovely, spacious garden, today we tried the awesome brunch at the Cerf Volant. As always, the food and drinks were tasty, and the staff super welcoming. We always enjoy how friendly the staff is and how accommodating they are of children and patient with foreigners when we need the extra time to understand the menu. We'll be back soon! Edit: after several more visits in the last couple of months, we find that the staff behaves as though the mere presence of customers is ruining their day. A wonderful discovery at this brand-new spot in Monplaisir. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The selection of hot drinks is a welcome touch as the weather turns cooler. The place has been beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. Our only slight complaint is the portion sizes, which seemed a little small, but we're hopeful that mentioning it to the waitress will prompt the chef to adjust accordingly. The autumnal colors really do justice to the terrace!
