We have been several times to Benoit but today the food was bad. I ordered 6 snails and for mains we ordered the Slowly cooked shoulder of lamb dish which came at a hefty price of € 110 for 2 persons. The snail meat was very small and hard, I suspected not fresh. The lamb dish was so disappointing. The waitress cut up the lamb at a serving table. My partner ended up with most of the good meat and I was served this sloppy mess, mostly fat and inedible. Don't get your hopes up here. It is a quiet and clean place to sit for slow table service after a long day wandering around the Louvre. The menu is limited and overpriced but your options elsewhere at the Louvre are worse.

I think the ratings are unfair This restaurant deserves a 5 star Delicious food, worthy of a visit on its own Servers are ok. If you are expecting them to act subservient, they are not. But they do their job, explain the food, help take pictures for you.

Arrived at about 4pm when snails were sold out. Ordered 4 dishes here and found all main dishes to be disappointing. - roasted chicken breast is very dry, and tastes like rubber? The rice in the side is good. - ordered medium steak but got it over cooked (again…like why it’s over and over again T.T). Very salty by the way - I seriously do not recommend. Otherwise, salads are fine and tartlet dessert is eatable. Save yourself for some other places if you are not super hungry.
