Stopped by after wandering the 2nd arrondissement in Paris, in the Japanese district near Rue Saint Anne. Queue and seating depends on the time of day but it’s less busy outside of Parisian’s lunch (after 1:30pm). The portions of the Nos Plats Chaudes were much bigger than expected and definitely worth the price €13-€14! The katsu sando and donburi quality were very good and tasty. The drinks were meh but the food and baked goods are the highlights. The customer service was a little taut with our touristy, curious energy after lunch rush - I can’t fault them for that.

We went mainly for the desserts, though it seemed like more people were there for lunch. We had the matcha crêpe cake, which was a large portion and not overly sweet: something I really liked. The yuzu éclair was a bit sweet for my taste, though. The coffee was just okay, but if you order a milk-based drink, they draw cute latte art on it.

Delicious matcha lattes! They use enough matcha powder and it isn't overly sweetened. Their strawberry cake and mille crêpe were also very delicious.

The best matcha in town!🥳 I absolutely adore Aki cafe and Aki restaurant. Everytime I go near Opera, I somehow end up in Aki for matcha. Their matcha is effortlessly sweet and delicious. I haven’t found better matcha place than there in Paris. The matcha cake is also really good. Only thing is that they don’t have any mobile phone service and data inside.
