Excellent food in a special outdoor location. Most tables seemed reserved at lunchtime but we we're early and managed to get one. The menu is the choice of one starter, one main and one dessert i.e no choice of food just how many courses. The waitress explained each course. We had a starter and main-high quality ingredients and beautifully presented. Though portion size is relatively small. Extensive wine menu starting at around 35 euros. Would recommend for a unique experience.

Exceptional experience! We had dinner at Le 17 last night and it was so wonderful that it even surpassed our expectations (not our first time there). While at lunch time they usually offer fixed menu (always great, but we wanted to give our guests a la carte choice), dinner is a real showcase of "la creme de la creme" of French cuisine, The combination of delicious and inventive dishes, best regional wines, attentive and professional service and a magic courtyard framed by the walls of Perpignan cathedral is worthy of a Michelin star. As every other reviewer has said, this was an absolutely excellent restaurant. First of all, the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. There were constant surprises in the flavours. There are lots of little extras between courses. The combination of ingredients was highly imaginative. This was first class cooking. We had both lunch and dinner at Le 17 and can’t recommend it highly enough. The food was superb, extremely tasty and exquisitely served. Eating in their courtyard on a sunny day is a joyous experience, while the cosy interior is perfect in the rain! If in Perpignan again, we would head straight for this restaurant knowing that we would be in for a treat.
