Yummy restaurant! Fresh fish is the high light. Sea bass so simply cooked. Fois Gras is excellent! Scallops 3 ways. Desserts were fantastic as well. You would never know this place was here unless there was some local knowledge. Great service as well. Must eat in Quimper.

We went there for our anniversary and had high expectations. Since the very start, we were shocked to be hearing the staff discussions just a 1-2 meters away from our table. In addition to speaking loudly, the waiters were standing so close to us I felt they can hear all our discussions. The food menu was tasty. But there was a situation where my husband got a stone in his fruit dessert that hurt his tooth (you don’t expect stones in your food when you pay this much) - the waiters just said “it happens, we are all human” and only toward the evening end we received an apology. I had a delicious lunch of sweetbreads, accompanied by fresh cooked peas, puréed peas, broccoli, carrot, and a fruit that I didn’t recognize. Though my French is not good and they spoke almost no English, I got a good recommendation for a glass of wine. The portion was generous. I only wish I had room for dessert. The setting is really special, if you like masonry— I do.
