The food was fine but the server was rude. Is this why the French have a reputation for rudeness? We waited for a table and the older woman told us it would be several minutes. A younger woman pointed to a table and told us we could have a seat. The older woman must not have seen the interaction and proceeded to ignore us and to wait on everyone else first. We saw two other couples leave due to her rudeness but the pastries looked delicious and we were in no hurry. If you can handle the rudeness, the food is good.

I came here a couple of times in the morning, just to get a break from the busy city and read my book for a bit. They have an outdoor and indoor area. I sat indoors as it was quite warm outside. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had a croissant and a large latte which were both good and perfect to start the day with. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews but must say my experience here has been really positive.

The place felt very biased toward tourists. At 10:30 we tried to order breakfast and were told it was only available from 12:00. Five minutes later, French guests ordered and were quickly served the exact same breakfasts we had asked for. One coffee from our order was never brought, and the staff deliberately avoided our requests and attempts to get their attention, even though they clearly saw and heard us. I do not recommend this place.
