This is a nice place to be in visually with its blue accents. It's not a big space, so probably better to book, especially on the weekend. The service was friendly & welcoming, but they did leave us for 15mins without asking about drinks. My beetroot tartare starter was something a bit different, but very enjoyable. My partner liked his poultry/pork pate. I had a main where cauliflower was the star. There were 3 vegetarian choices. My partner had the frog's legs. Small but tasty. He got vegetables with it, which were lovely. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

As Bistros go, this was 10/10. The very hardworking staff catered for such a busy place effortlessly. The food as described on the menu was ok, but when it arrived the presentation and taste was out of this world. One of the best meals I’ve had in France. I highly recommend a visit. We were lucky to get a table as walk-ins but I’d recommend booking as it get very busy.

I visited the restaurant on my first day for lunch, and the experience was so exceptional that I had to come back the very next day, this time for dinner.
