A nice pasty shop in Toulouse. Can’t say they have the best ever ever cakes, however, they are definitely worth exploring and trying all of them! I really enjoyed their macarons. They have 12 different flavors so you have to try all of them to pick your favorite. Overall, I encourage everyone to pay a visit to this place and try as much as possible :)

We stumbled upon Au Poussin Bleu after seeing so many people around Toulouse carrying their signature blue and white cake boxes, and we just had to see what all the fuss was about. We’re so glad we did! We decided to try their galette de rois, not knowing exactly what to expect—was it savory or sweet? Well, it turned out to be the most delicious frangipane tart we’ve ever tasted! The pastry was buttery and flaky, and the frangipane filling was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just a lovely, rich almond flavor that melted in our mouths. It was absolute perfection. We came here to try the macaroons, which were excellent. The passion fruit and chocolate was specifically delicious. The sugar dipped clementine was also very tasty.
