I always loved this cafe and came many times a week even. I spent two months away from Berlin, I came back today and the prices went really up, flat white is 4.8 euros now, it was 3.8euros, the coffee is good don’t get me wrong, but 4.8 for a flat white or a latte is a lot especially given that the cafe itself isn’t renovated or has a special decor, it straight looks like a cafe from the 50s and it has been looking like that ever since the day they opened.

My visit was rather disappointing. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable because of the very loud and one-sided music playing throughout my stay, it didn’t create a welcoming or relaxing vibe. The flat white was also quite average, lacking the rich taste and balance usually expected from a speciality coffee place.
