We came here on a recommendation for breakfast — and we weren’t disappointed. Sitting by the tall windows with the sun streaming in (a rare treat in Hamburg) definitely set the tone. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall price point? Classic Hamburg: not exactly budget-friendly, but you get solid quality in return. What stood out? The dark bread was fantastic — hearty, flavorful, and just the right texture. The light bread, on the other hand, was sliced so thin you’d need a scalpel to butter it. Friend cafe with good breakfast. When coming down from Königstraße it seems quite remote, as it seems like part of an industrial park but when you get there it's really lovely! The cake looked nice too but I was full from my breakfast. Lots of people had reservations so it's clearly very popular

Big selection of excellent cakes and baked goods made on site. The signage is helpful for those with allergies as they are marked next to each cake. Prices are reasonable and there is ample seating inside. Credit cards accepted which is also nice. The coffee quality is average but the cakes are the reason to come here.
