About coffee is a really popular cafe, always full of people, the drinks are tasty and well made, and their cakes are good and not too sweet. I love that they don’t add sugar in the drink, you can add as you like. Their matcha the first time I went was good! But after they reopened it seemed that the matcha had oxidised as it was way too dark in color and tasted more bitter. I hope they pay more attention to the quality of the matcha next time. I love places that let you choose your own pace. This coffee spot in Cologne does exactly that. If you are in a hurry, just walk up to the counter. Grab a coffee to go, add a slice of cake, done. Easy and efficient. But if you decide to sit down, the mood changes completely. Cozy ambience, calm energy, genuinely friendly staff. The kind of place that quietly asks you not to rush. Popped in for breakfast because of all the great reviews and trying to support a local business. Only one table occupied when we arrived and two grumpy people behind the counter who just grunted at us when we asked where we could sit. Tables were dirty somehow, despite no customers. We didn't hang around. Went across the road instead to Le Maison du Pain. What a difference! Warm, friendly welcome and gorgeous food there ... 😊
