Café Boxenstopp has a fantastic atmosphere and truly amazing service — friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The non-milkshake drinks were excellent and really stood out. The food was good overall. While we’ve had slightly better breakfasts elsewhere, the variety here is impressive, and I went for a classic dish that was solid and well prepared. A great spot to relax and enjoy a quality breakfast experience.

Despite our very short stay in Köln we had breakfast here twice. A small cute café that leaves a big impression with it's lovely staff, great food and delicious drinks (strongly recommend their seasonal gingerbread cappuccino). They also have menus in both German and English, as well as staff speaking excellent English also. Highly recommend this place for an excellent breakfast but strongly advise you book in advance as they get very busy even in the early hours. Important piece of a advice for tourists is they don't take orders at the counter, if you find a seat and wait they will come to
