We recently had a very good healthy dinner at Picnic along Maximilianstraße in the Old Town of Augsburg. They have a large indoor and outdoor seating area and are open from 9am to midnight daily. Menu features a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian friendly dishes, healthy drinks along with beer and wine. On the occasion we were served a very good Falafel Bowl and flat bread with buffalo cheese and pesto. Servings were presentable, ingredients fresh and everything tasted very good. I was here last night and I loved it so much I came back the next day. I ordered the caramel machiatto (delicious) blueberry cinnamon roll and the most amazing cookie I've ever eaten and I've tried a lot of cookies (store bought and home cooked). I'm already planning my next visit in my head. It's usually busy but I've always been able to find a place to sit. The waiters work their best, although there is at times a wait, that's normal for weekends.
