Great, delicious and fresh food. I’d recommend everything in the menu apart from the CurryWurst - one thing I didn’t enjoy. Seating area could do with refreshing - make it more inviting and homely - looks a bit dated - especially with the menus stuck under the glass table top. Also toilet is a bit gross. Lovely ladies working at the restaurant. Usually quick and great service.

After what felt like forever, I finally ate at the Chicken Stube again. After the renovation, it's shining brightly. Bright, understated, and very tasteful. But now to the main event: the food. It was excellent and outstanding. I ordered currywurst and fries, and gyros with tzatziki. The portions were generous. Attentive service. A definite recommendation, as is the Café Meraki next door. 👍👍👍

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly since the change of ownership, while the prices have increased. I've given it several chances, but we're done with this chip shop! I don't need to get diarrhea every time I eat from there... It used to be delicious, but now the sauces are extremely watered down, the meat seems to be measured out, the sausage doesn't taste good anymore, and some dishes aren't even properly heated when you eat in...

Highly recommended restaurant/snack bar. Friendly and attentive staff, and the value for money is excellent. Dishes like half a grilled chicken or gyros are a true culinary delight and, in my opinion, unrivaled in the entire Rhein-Erft district. The new, modern interior makes it feel significantly more spacious and inviting than before. You simply feel comfortable! A true piece of Bergheim's cultural heritage.
