My favorite spot for Kaffee & Kuchen in town! The cakes and pies are freshly homemade and absolutely delicious. The coffee is also really, really good. The staff are welcoming and friendly—and unlike many other places in Germany, they don’t look annoyed when taking your order. They accept card payments (not just EC!) and even have vegan options. It might sound like a hipster café, but it’s actually a traditional one. I love it here! 😊

This place is a hidden gem near Bensberg tram station. They are a local bakery with lots of options in torte (cakes). We visited the place on a Sunday afternoon. They are open even on Sunday until 6 pm. There are sitting areas indoor and outdoor in garden as well. The outdoor is also covered so you will not feel cold. We tried truffle cake and almond-caramel cream cake with caramel latte and cappuccino. The cakes were freshly baked and very tasty. They do serve alcoholic drinks as well. This is perfect if you are looking for a cozy afternoon coffee with family or friends
