Café Circle is one of those cafés that regularly appears on Berlin coffee recommendation lists, so naturally I had to give it a try. At this point, I have stopped expecting great cappuccinos in Berlin. That may sound harsh, but after many café visits across the city, the best cappuccino I have had was still the one I poured from the breakfast machine at my hotel. Very disappointing experience. I came here on a Sunday morning, there were like two people in the cafe, and they have these notes on the table that it’s a no computer zone. I wasn’t just sitting and working on my own, I had a work meeting with another person, and we needed to use a computer. They forbid it and told me I’m only allowed to sit at the tiny bar tables, which is very inconvenient for a work meeting. The place was empty, I would have understood if it were full… zero flexibility. I would not suggest this cafe, there are nicer places around.

Coffee is good. Cake was VERY OLD but nevertheless tasty. What I personally HATE: you have to pay with card, no cash accepted. I usually walk out without ordering but it was too cold outside.

Yet another beautiful Coffee Circle cafe. There's ample indoor seating and dedicated tables for coworking. The interior is nice and quiet and of course, has a good internet connection. Always love the coffee here. It was a bummer that they ran out of croissants as early as 10 am.
