5/5 coffee , 4.5/5 pastry. The one thing that absolutely stood out surprisingly was the coffee. The latte was smooth and probably the best i had in Berlin. We had ham cheese croissant, ham cheese sandwich both was decent. This charming place in a courtyard has plenty of seating indoors and some outdoors. Caters mostly for typical brunch id say towards cakes and pastries. Berlin is interesting in the sense they hav these cafes in the courtyard which can be very picturesque and thus this is one of THE cafes in Berlin.

What a lovely place. It smelled like freshly baked bread. (because they actually bake bread right there). We absolutely loved the ham and cheese sandwich. Matcha was also very good. We waited for a little time - not too bad, also expected. Amazing seating in the courtyard.

LOVED the terbirkes and the almond croissant, but the banana bread was quite dry and the kouign-amann wasn’t my favorite. The space is beautiful, we expected a line and though it was out the door; the wait wasn’t too bad so don’t be deterred!

One of my favorite bakeries in Berlin. The pastries are always excellent, and what I appreciate most is the consistency. I've been here many times, sometimes even twice in the same day during a visit to Berlin, and the quality never changes. Everything is fresh, well made, and delicious. I also highly recommend the egg, bread & butter plate for breakfast. Another big plus is that they open early in the morning. If you want to avoid the long lines, it's best to come right when they open or later in the day, as the queue can get very long. Highly recommended!
