This café is well known and usually crowded, but to reach the upper floors you have to use the stairs. Since we had a stroller, we couldn’t go to the other floors, and even on the ground floor there wasn’t a proper space for a stroller. It felt like they weren’t very happy for us to stay long in the café. I personally liked the spinach quiche. The staff were moody — sometimes kind, sometimes strict and irritated (which may be due to how busy the café gets, but it’s still not the customer’s fault). The prices were slightly high, but the quality was good. The location is great with easy street

A fantastic cafe located in the heart of Munich. The decor and ambience are very chic and pleasing to the guest. The way the cafe is designed across the three levels is perfect. Breakfast options are great as are the heavier meals. A personal recommendation would be the Viennese Schnitzel with baked potatoes and cranberry compote. It was really crispy and flavourful. Another popular option seemed to be French toast as well. Of course don’t forget to try the Bavarian white sausage and pretzel either. Overall my visit here was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience indeed. 5stars.

We only came to buy 2 little cakes and it was over priced (+11€). The cakes were average and small, far from what you can get at a french patisserie. Pity…

We enjoyed Cafe Munchner so much we visited twice. The location is excellent and the outside seating area is fabulous. We enjoyed the coffee in a large mug and the continental breakfast with boiled egg. There is some beautiful looking ice cream on offer but unfortunately we did not have room after breakfast.
