It seems most of the bad experiences here are by rude tourists surprised that Germans speak German? I had a lovely afternoon coffee and cake, for a reasonable price, and my server was perfectly polite when I kindly requested English. The pace is leisurely, as to be expected in much of Europe. Don’t be a bratty tourist and you’ll be fine! Enjoy the tasty cake, highly recommend the straciatella.

This coffee haus is located at Bremen Market Square with relaxing vibe. Last time I had their walnut and peach cake with ample amount of sweetness. The nutty and soft peach slices were such irresistible combination. The cake was moist enough. Pairing it with black coffee was a delightful experience on a Sunday evening.

This was an excellent experience. The ambience was nice, comfortable and classy. The server was excellent, he was funny and had the right anticipation. The tea I had was of good quality and well served. The cake and ice cream selection was superb and tasty. This place is a classical coffee house was a high cultured experience that is a complete contrast to whatever the Starbucks across the street is trying to achieve. If you want to experience true German coffee and cake culture, visit here and skip the Starbucks.

This is the second time we visit this coffee Shop. We were surprised that both times and with different staff members we experienced a terrible customer service. They are extremely rude and start the conversation (in German) with “what do you want”, following by long waiting times (even though the place wasn’t full nor a high peak hour) and unfriendliness with no reason. The coffee is ok, but we wouldn’t recommend the cakes. The place is clean and well organized. After giving this place a second chance, we are not coming here again.
