I had a free evening in Düsseldorf and searched for a Ukrainian restaurant. Schu Schu already had good reviews and is a stones throw from the Hauptbahnhof - so off I went. And I am so glad I did! The restaurant is small with only half a dozen tables but with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The drink list is extensive, with options for wine, spirits, juices and teas. And the food! Absolutely loved it. If you are ever in Düsseldorf - this is definitely worth your time. Restaurant is easy to find, located only 7 mn walking distance from Main Train Station. It is small, but cozy and clean. The owner/ waitress is very kind and pleasant. The food deserves a high praise. I have had Borscht many times outside of Ukraine and this one is definitely Top 3! We also had Chicken Kyiv and Vareniky - delicious! Everything is good, both portions and quality. Chef deserves a praise! I hope that lots of people see my review and enjoy this experience!
