I had such an amazing experience at Trattoria Salento that I ended up visiting twice during my stay in Hamburg. The Tagliolini al Tartufo was absolutely outstanding perfectly cooked pasta with an incredibly generous amount of fresh truffle. The flavor was rich, elegant and truly authentic. I paired it with a glass of Primitivo red wine, which complemented the dish beautifully. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and very Italian, with the classic red-and-white tables creating a charming and cozy setting. Great food on the whole, with a very extensive Menu; I felt spoiled for choice. Main courses were very tasty, well cooked (lamb fillet, medium done) and very nicely composed.
