I ordered schäufele for a little less than 20 euros. The sauce was thin and oily. The dumpling was small. The crust was crunchy but salty. Meat was well cooked and fell off the bone but the flavour was not spectacular. Overall, average. The most bumming part was that they only accept cash for take aways for reasons related to tax, which was let known AFTER the food was served. I had to run to the atm and back to pay.

If you're visiting middle Franconia (Mittelfranken in German ), you must try the famous Schäufele, a traditional dish made from the pigs shoulder meat. It is usually served with two Kloß, typically made from potatoes. The price is reasonable too. The service is great and the staffs are friendly. Only downside is that the knives are too blunt to cut the meat.

The worst Restaurant in Town, they are just there to take your money, then eat as quick as you can. they told me where to sitt when i entered, they do not let you pick the table, you want. Then they not even wait a bit so you finish your meal and seat other people at your table without asking you, and then to show how great they are they allow you to finish your meal for what you payed. And yes after they told the other guests without asking me to sitt at my table, of course i allowed them to sitt down, but polite would be to ask the guest before. Never seen this in my life!!!
