Great authentic place. Cozy atmosphere, just like in German pub. Delicious food (meat was great!) and friendly staff. Special thanks to the owner 🙏 that made our special request happen (big mixed plate with different meat products and potato dumplings, see my photo). Also beer was really good! Place is recommended 👌

Their brewed beer and food were really tasty, we got the pork shoulder, chicken and strudel and were very preased. Pork was melting in my mouth and the skin was crispy as it should be (it was perfectly cooked to the point i could, if i intended to do so, bite off a chunk of the bone). Did however find a little piece of bay leaf in the pork sauce. Didn't go inside, but the venue out was standard and enjoyable. They also have a weekly menue in addition to the standard.

Even with brewery closed, Kitzmann Bräuschänke keeps the 300+ year Kitz tradition going. The meal and menu is modern jetz still fränkisch. They even let me substitute fries in lieu of Knödel for my amazing Schäufele. Even better, the wait staff was super attentive, very friendly, and accommodating for my in laws where were visiting.

I stumbled upon this amazing place in Erlangen and loved its relaxed vibe. The staff were super friendly, and I felt welcomed right away. I didn’t have to wait for a table, which was great. Tried their Aperol, and it was the best I’ve had. A must-visit for Aperol fans. We also tried their bock Bier, Keller Bier, and Weißbier—all amazing. To eat, we ordered spätzle, which was delicious. Overall, loved the service, atmosphere, and drinks, definitely going back.
