There was no menu in English (or Italian menu as an Italian restaurant) and tourists will struggle to understand what they want... super crowded and chairs very close to each other as well tables had no much spacw to walk in between. The service was great with smile and the food was ok... but nothing impressive to be value for money.

Food and service were both really great. We ordered the Pizza Funghi & Prosciutto and Pizza Hawaii, plus a Pasta Pollo & Pomodoro. For drinks we had a Piña Colada and still water. The pasta was particularly good and true al dente, not undercooked like some other places.

Staff were lovely and friendly, despite the language barrier. I visited this restaurant solo, I was very comfortable here and enjoyed my visit. Reasonably priced considering the location. The pizza was so huge I couldn’t finish it!

What a great place. We walked in for a meal and have enjoyed ourselves tremendously. It was good pizza in a real Italian wood oven. Desserts where great and the staff was super friendly and helpfull. Although very busy the waiting times were not very long. To bad we didn't stay longer in Essen because we would have gone back.
