Roaming around the old city on a short overnight stay and enjoyed sitting outside watching all the action in the square. This a cash $ only kniper. The food is basic, tasty and filling. The beer is top notch. The waitresses are not the friendliest but … hey, this is Germany. One waitress came through for us BIG time. Out of nowhere a massive thunderstorm with Big rains happened and I asked if she had an umbrella we could borrow. What a great little bar. Don't read the few weird bad reviews. The staff were great and the food and drink very authentic. So good, we went twice!

I dont get why someone would be mean right as you enter and ask to order. As I entered, she said in a mean tone while being annoyed “the bathroom is down there”, mind you I didnt even ask for the bathroom or anything, I said no I just want to order to which she yelled “WE HAVE TABLE SERVICE” in a mean tone. When I asked to order, she, again in a mean tone, said to go sit at the table. She waved me away with her hand. After this, I left. If you’re old and bored from your life don’t let it out on a tourist who’s coming to benefit your business, you can just stay home or go to a retirement home.
