Our favorite restaurant – friendly and welcoming owners – Alain and his family cook with passion. They offer outstanding Belgian and international dishes, always perfectly seasoned and artfully prepared. A true gem in Frechen. The Belgian draft beer also deserves a mention. Anyone looking for a wonderful evening in a small, elegant restaurant with fantastic paintings on all the walls (painted by the owner himself) will not be disappointed. On our way to Frankfurt, we stopped for dinner. We didn't make a reservation, thinking that since it was a Wednesday and in a small town, we wouldn't have any problem. But it was packed! Luckily, we got a table. It's a family-run restaurant with a very original and welcoming decor, full of paintings (I imagine they're their own work) and Tiffany-style lamps. What surprised me was the price of the set menu—super good value! The food was excellent!
