The best south indian food we tasted in Germany. We ordered masala roast, mysore masala roast, parotta, chicken kothu and ghee roast. To finish of we ordered filter coffee. Everything was delicious with same aroma & taste as from Chettinad origin. The reason being is Chefs are from Madurai and Trichy which is known for Chettinad cusines. Must try restaurant !!. Very good ambience..

I been few times to this place and food is good but never knew this might happen! On 19.04.26 had a dinner. I ordered number 233 dish, Egg parotta with Saalna. I did felt something is odd and asked the service guy, if this curry is completely vegetarian? He checked in kitchen and said 100% vegetarian. I didn’t at much so took a one rice pack and rest over curry with me. I was right, there were so many chicken pieces in it 🤢🤢🤢🤢 If you ask an Indian, they are exactly know importance its to not mix up meat with veg food! I know Saalna cooked with coconut but it’s not what if they now argu

If you want to have good south indian food around or near Hannover then Madras cafe at Gottingen is the place for you. Friendly staff and authentic dosa taste that will fill not only your tummy but also your heart with good taste. And don't forget the filter coffee at the end.

A nice Indian restaurant with yummy food and ok prices. The waiter was very kind but a little overwhelmed as he was the only person serving the entire restaurant. This also resulted in our food being brought out at different times and my rice got a little cold while waiting. The food itself was filling and yummy - could’ve been a little more spicy.
