Being a Local Guide Level 8, I feel responsible to share a clear and fair review of Gaues’ Tiös in Hamburg HafenCity. I visited on Sunday, 16 November 2025 at around 16:46.(closing time mentioned on google 17:30) It was freezing outside and we were just looking for a warm place for a quick bite and a drink before going back to the car. From the street the café looked very inviting. Through the large front window you see Black Label whisky and other bottles of alcohol neatly displayed on the shelves. Cool café in the Überseeboulevard. The food and coffee are excellent and the vibe is not too chill, nor too busy. The huge windows always attract me, so I can look at the International Navigation Museum across the canal and the architecture of HafenCity. We come here often to work, it's a shame they don't have a WIFI available for guests. With good weather, it is also perfect to sit outside and chill in the plaza. Foodwise, my tips are the foccacia (as others pointed out here) and my wife says the matcha is the real thing.
