If you've never had Ethiopian/ Eritrean food, you will love the warmth of the owner and the delightfully colored food, with the option to eat with hand or using cutlery, surrounded by over the top "African" decor. If you've had prior experiences with this cuisine, you might be disappointed. It was rather underwhelming to get food lacking the wholesome and hearty essence of what the cuisine stands for. The quantity to price ratio is disproportionate and the texture and flavours, mediocre. We were also awfully disappointed at the Injera quality, texture and size. But the Dju dju beer is worth

A pity they didn't had the samosa.. photos of it looked really crispy... food reminds me of Indian southern food... Tasted like thosai and the various sauces... Food looked simple but were really flavorful... The beef reminded me of rendang.. first time tasting Ethiopian food 👍

I sat at this place by chance and ordered a mango beer & vegetarian samosas. I just wanted to pass time while waiting for a friend, but the place made me so happy! The lady who served me was very nice and the service was quite fast. I enjoyed my my mango beer and the samosas a lot too, for 7.50 in total. The location is very nice too and it's really fun to sit outside and watch bikers pass by. I will try their food as soon as I can! Update: I have now tried many of their vegetarian& vegan meals. After the high rating here I thought this must be something special. I was pretty disappointed. The waitress was inexperienced and overwhelmed. The food was a bit flavourless and served cool or cold. The meat dishes included very little meat. The restaurant itself is draughty and cold in winter. Hygiene was substandard. They won't pay for a Spotify subscription, so you listen to ads. Prices okay. Staff friendly enough.
