Lovely flavourful food with generous portions great for sharing. Very engaging staff. A real pleasure to have such a variety of flavours and (mild) spices after many days of more traditional Northern European food. Highly recommend the cold mini mezza plate (had to ask for some recipes!)

We arrived here at 7pm and had food at 8pm. We had to wait to be seated, and then waited 30 mins to order (coz the server (i guess he is an onwer as well) did other stuffs like preparing for other tables, taking care of new guests...) , and then 25 mins for the food. He even didn't say please wait for a moment when we asked him for ordering, just let us seat there and didn't know when he will come, my husband had the idea to leave but finally we was still waiting. He seemed quite tired at the date we came. The food is actually good. This is the first time we ate Syrian food and it made us wow.

We have eaten here for two nights in a raw, after being impressed by the food's quality on our first time, and that decision led to an exceptionally welcoming experience. We had some dishes adjusted to our will and needs, thanks to a very generous availability. The owner prepared on the occasion some okra stew and grapevine rolls that turned absolutely wholesome. All of what we ordered has been satisfactory from main dishes to dessert. I can totally advertise the place with a top grade.

Amazing food. I’ve tried almost all of the Arab restaurants in Heidelberg and Palmyra beat them all. The chicken was so juicy and tender, it was absolutely delicious. We ate it two days in a row! P.S this is an honest review and not a promotion ☺️
