I visited Saigon with my brother for lunch and overall it was an okay experience. The food was good, but not everything stood out as exceptional. The drinks felt quite expensive compared to the rest of the meal, which was a bit surprising. That said, it’s still a decent option for a quick and convenient lunch. I’d probably go back for something casual, but not necessarily for a special occasion.

When you’re away from for five weeks and craving Vietnamese food, this place hit the spot. It wasn’t perfectly authentic but it was good enough. The summer rolls were good but the sauce was odd. The Hanoi bowl was also pretty good but again the sauce was sub par. Also waited a long time for food. Overall, I recommend it when you’ve got a craving for Asian food and you don’t expect full on authenticity. I thought I heard people in the kitchen speaking Vietnamese so maybe the sauces were made for German palates?
