Coffee is really good and service was good too considering that it was very full today. We had breakfast and the egg dishes were not seasoned at all like it really tasted bland. I appreciate that the owner asked for honest feedback which I told her honestly but she said that there is a reason why there is salt and pepper available. I believe that in any kind of restaurant business seasoning the food is a must to bring out the flavors and if it’s lacking then you may add but to not season at all is really disappointing. This place deserves its great reviews. I went for brunch with two friends and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The vegetarian options for the sandwiches were a bit boring, but the coffee and cakes were excellent (and I am not normally a cake person). Location is right in the Altstadt. Staff is very welcoming. They have a brunch option where they keep bringing you German breakfast (brötchen with cheese, meats, spreads) until you’re full. We were limited on time, but it looked tasty and it may be the way to go if you want to relax and enjoy your meal for longer.

Lovely coffee shop on a walking street in downtown area. Has both vegan and non-vegan pastries. We didn’t see there was also a savory menu until we’d already ordered the breakfast pastries, but we saw another table get a sandwich bread and fillings 3-layer tower (bread on bottom, fillings in the middle, sauces on top). Great variety of vegan pastries! Almost 2/3 of the offerings were vegan. We sampled the lemon cake, pistachio cake, marble cake, and apple coffee cake, and all were excellent.
