We were there for Feb.14 and it felt a little like a mistake, they were clearly in a rush, the 3 stars on Atmosphere are because we got a table in the basement which is not very nice, the area on the ground floor is way nicer and cosier.m. We were given 1.5hr for dinner so we ended up getting the check together with desert. On the positive side the food is good, slightly over priced. Before the arrival, I had some normal expectations for eating a steak, but again with a dose that it will be something special. However, the meat and groceries are quality but the execution for me was a little below the level that a steakhouse should meet. The ambiance and space look great, the staff is ok.

Good price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, they do not offer grilled seasonal vegetables. The steaks are well prepared and there is a good selection. We like coming here after the sister steakhouse "Kathi's" in Freising raised their prices by more than 40% within a year without any reason and without offering more service or better quality. In any case, "The Butcher" offers solid quality, the service is always courteous and very friendly, even if I find the dining room a little too dark for my taste. All in all, a good and recommendable address for all steak lovers.
