Very kind staff, spoke English, and very attentive. The “Strips of the chicken in a creamy sauce” and “Beef roulade” were absolutely fantastic. Nice location and excellent beer, even though I’m not much of a beer drinker, the beer tester was a lovely option! Would absolutely recommend!

Ate dinner here on Sunday night in November 2024. This was a lovely restaurant with friendly attentive waitstaff. I got the potato soup with sausage (hot dogs in the US) and wife had the Grimes Wurzfleisch which is like turkey ham Swiss bake I make at home. We loved both dishes and followed it up with ice cream. The noise level was very low and we had a great time!

Tasty, but if it were a personality, it would be the ‘nice neighbor’ of restaurants - friendly, but not exactly memorable. The drinks? Often came here for a beer in the sunshine. So decided to try the food. Had the Saxon Potato soup which was very tasty. The Leipziger Krautwickel was also nice, though it looked like mince of some sort rather than beef. Still, very nice. Service was good and reasonably priced.
