Pretty nice place overall. Food was just ok, but ice cream was great. Service very slow but people nice. We had a reservation but they gave it away but was able to find another area anyway so that was no problem. I would go back for ice cream but not for dinner.

Service was quite poor and unfriendly. Most of the staff don't speak English which isn't a bad thing but I found it odd, didn't happen in other places in Leipzig. A waiter practically yelled at me for drinking my own water, they said it was prohibited and if I wanted a drink I had to order from them. Never happened to me. Food was ok. Don't recommend.

The main draw to this spot is it's convenient location on the main square and it's many fanciful ice ream creations. The food is typical German fair. Nothing fancy. The ice cream is delicious and fun such as some that look like spaghetti with strawberry sauce to look like tomato sauce. Really fun but rather slow service. Patients will pay off with a memorable experience.
