I visited this restaurant in Leipzig after a friend, who used to live here, told me it had the best schnitzel in all of Germany. I went for lunch with high expectations, and surprisingly, it exceeded every one of them. The rumor was absolutely true. Five stars are not enough. It is by far the best schnitzel I’ve ever had, and I no longer feel the need to look for another schnitzel place. The price is very reasonable considering the quality and portion size. A fantastic place in the heart of Leipzig. Food is great and we managed to get service for dinner at midnight which was a great touch. Our service was friendly and super kind. We even accidentally broke a glass which was no issue for the staff. One of our party has autism and can get slighty impatient waiting for things but even he was very impressed with the speed and service. We shall be back on our next trip.

Went here for some late food and drinks, thought I would courteous by ordering my drinks in German, but the woman behind the bar, believe her name was Dorothy, shouted “eh?” at me and was very rude. Gave the impression she does not like tourists. Seems to be quite a common theme having read other reviews.

Super cool interior in this German style pub. The food was very good - typical German specialities of the region. Very quiet on a Sunday afternoon but worth the experience. Very reasonable prices and attentive service. Beers are cold. The bratkartoffelen are some of the best I have had in Germany.
