Some of my best finds on a short weekend getaway to Magdeburg happened by accident. So did the not so good, like Cafe Del Sol. Spotted the nice deck from a distance and wanted to take advantage of the good weather while enjoying lunch. Our small party of three started with a round of drinks. I had a Brazilian mojito, which unfortunately tasted completely virgin. If there was rum in it, it was negligible. Then I had the Las Vegas burger. If I say it's the worst meal I've ever eaten, would it be unfair to the worst meal? I ordered caesar salad, only lettuce came. Nothing else, just lettuce. Not a joke, it's real. Definitely stay away, I won't go again. It's a simple restaurant inside. Not worth going and wasting your time. Look for other good places.

What to say design of the place is quite extraordinary, but cuisine is comparable to fast-food rather than to restaurant. Waitress forgot to remind me that in ceasar salat will be no croutons, that's why there where only two components: iceberg lettuce and cheese. After my complain administrator came to apologise, and served two glasses wine extra. If i knew I would better ordered other salad. Red wine and desserts with ice were tasty.
