THIS COULD NOT BE WORSE! We have been there 2 nights, the second night, they asked to go before 23pm (closing time). At 22u55 they took our drinks away. We were at a bill of 300+ euros at that time. They wait until you pay and then they want to kick you out as fast as possible. After we wanted to leave, the waiter went outside to yell at us to give our phones to him because he taught that we had a video of him. This was not true at all. The most disrespectful experience I have ever had in Mannheim. They are friendly until 10 p.m., but from that moment on they start asking for your money, become increasingly rude, and even take your drinks away if you don’t leave. We asked what time they usually close and were told 11 p.m., yet our drinks were taken at 10:58. Afterwards, we were aggressively told to go outside, and they even threatened to call the police. We spent €600 on two dinners in two days. The food was good, but I would definitely not recommend this place.

If thier are any tourists in the UK wanting to eat and drink the finest traditional German quisine you need to go here! This place is fabulous. English speaking staff who were very helpful. The food portions are very generous,the surroundings and building itself are simply stunning with its traditional architecture. I had the pork cheeks which were outstanding. We ate outside due to the fact it was full inside. Neverless it was heated and the locals treated us well. I recommend this place 100percent simple for value for money. If ever we return to Manhiem rest assured 100percent we will revisi

Food was fine, but service was terrible. Waitress deliberately ignored our table. While half of the table were empty, we were tried to pay the bill. She said wait a second and just chilling out for like half an hour. We had to ask other waiter to pay our bill.
