Restaurant Mausefalle in Mülheim an der Ruhr is a well-loved spot, and it’s easy to see why. It’s like a German pub with a modern kitchen—cozy, rustic vibes with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The highlight for me was the Schweinehaxe. Perfectly crispy and tender, it’s easily one of the best I’ve had. I’m already looking forward to my next visit just for that dish. It’s not the cheapest place around, but if you’re craving some high-quality German comfort food, it’s worth the splurge. Your taste buds will be happy even if your wallet complains a little!

Nice typical German food, great beer, great dessert menu. Service can be a little bit slow, but enjoy the wait with an entree. The building is quite nice and has a great view of the streets and the church nearby.
