This was a perfect end to the day. I read about it in blogs and it sounded like a must. First, it's tucked away in a corner alley so it doesn't feel like the city center. Quiet and cozy. The drinks (esp the summer special with lillet) were great. The service (Effie) was the best. But the food, my god the food. Stopped by Zum Alten Markt for a beer and a quick bite. Really liked their dunkel beer,it stood out compared to other places. The service was good, and the staff were friendly. In summer, the outdoor seating is perfect if you just want to relax with a cold beer.
