Il Panino isn’t trying to be more than it is, and that’s what makes it work. A small spot with tables close enough to hear your neighbor’s regrets and just enough sun to forgive the traffic noise. The paninis come quick, honest. Nothing fancy, but nothing fake either. Service with a nod, not a smile, which somehow feels more genuine. It’s the kind of place that won’t change your life, but might just save your afternoon. Four stars. One for each corner of the table we shared, slightly wobbly, slightly perfect.

There are polite ways to let know your clients you can’t sit on the tables outside the restaurant when you don’t order directly from the menu card. We were treated like delinquents. I understand the rules but I think the personnel needs and urgent course of customer service, specially with tourists. I had never ever been thrown out of a restaurant like that.
