Still the best Ramen place I know of, other than the other Takumi places of course. Specifically drove here on my way through Germany. (Had been to some of the Takumi places in NL before.) The food is the best part, especially the noodles, which are just probably the best ones you can get in Germany or central Europe. As a bonus, you also often get your soup very fast, which is always nice when you’re hungry. Ordered the fried chicken, Tantanmen. The fried chicken was good, not the best marination and the the ramen was very flavorsome, the spices were absolutely correctly dosed, the number and nature of the textures was impeccable as well. The chicken in the ramen was thickly doughed but it absorbed the flavor of the broth quite and the chicken itself was quite fresh. A very good first impression, much better than the other branches of this restaurant. Slightly on the pricier side though.

As the name indicates, this is the third Takumi establishment in Cologne. I didn't try the tonkotsu ramen, but the shoyu ramen. The ramen could be a bite more al dente and the soup could be more savoury. The fried tofu is not as depicted on the menu. Friendly and fast service. A solid option when you are in Nippes.

This place could do better. The food was good, plentiful and in a good price range. In my opinion, it could do with a good clean and a better extractor fan. I think the other two are better.
