Food here in Nürnberg was excellent. Get their pork shoulder with their potato dumplings since it was so, so good. The Glühwein was delicious and all the rest of the entrees the family got were just an excellent meal. The staff were great with their very quick service of the food being served, to the very quick service of taking our orders as soon as we were arrived and ready. The interior itself was very fancy and cute for a German restaurant. Highly recommend this place for lunch in Nürnberg!

Absolute perfection. I booked a table one day in advance and arrived an hour earlier, but this wasn't a problem at all. Got the speciality of the house, which is a HUGE chunk of meat, melting on the fork like butter, with potato. And the beer was probably the tastiest I have ever drank in my entire life, and that is saying something, because i travel a lot in Germany and always go for the local treasures.

It really is excellent. If you want to try food and beer from the local area, go here. It is not cheap, but it is worth it if you are visiting. I went in asparagus season and had white asparagus as a starter and the marinated beef in gingerbread sauce as the main. Excellent. The duck also looked amazing.
