Beautiful views if you can get outside seating. Service was fine but not super fast. Got the six Nürnburg sausages and the big salad. When they say big salad they are not messing around. You definitely get your money's worth. Got the house helles which was very satisfying on a June day.

A must visit spot in Nürnberg, always packed with locals and even tourists - the ambience inside is that of a tavern with multiple rooms, great for conversations. Reservations are definitely recommended! Coming to the food, they serve Franconian specialities but I was in the mood for a breaded schnitzel which was so good! The dish could be shared with another person cause the quantity was great, but I came with an appetite. I also tried this pilsner from the Rittmayer brewery (I believe it's served exclusively here in Nürnberg), and it was special. Ended the meal with the lovely Apfelküchle

I was visiting Nuremberg and decided to give local food a shot — and I have no regrets whatsoever: the Schäufele was divine, as were the Sauerkraut, sauce, and Knödel. A particular credit goes to our waitress, whose attentiveness and warmth added a personal touch to an already excellent meal.

I had to leave a review so I could remember where to go if I’m ever in the area again. This was one of my favorite meals that I’ve had while travelling throughout Europe. After making sure they were okay with substitutions on the menu, I had pork Schnitzel and substituted the fries for spaetzle and asked for some mushroom gravy. They were happy to accommodate the changes and I can’t stop thinking about how good it was!
