Aside from nostrils assaulted by carefree smoking customers, the vibe was almost as pleasant as the flavour-enriched lentil soup and salad in a bread bowl we were served. A little on the salty / vinegary side, but that’s Germany for ya! It was hot that day and we had to move to a table with an umbrella. Overall hassle-free and filling lunch.

We arrived in Offenburg at 10 p.m. All the restaurants had closed their kitchens. We found this place run by Turkish people. It looked very Easy and minimal. Close at eleven. A pleasant discovery. We ate very well. The food was very good. Hamburger chicken cruncy was delicious. Also the salad with pomegranate and balsamic vinegar glaze. Friendly staff and very professional. I will go back there next time when I go back to Germany and land in Baden Baden.
