We weren't greeted upon arrival and had to go to the bar to ask for our reserved table. The service was slow and inattentive, constantly trying to upsell us on desserts or cappuccinos, and in the end, we waited almost half an hour for the bill. My partner ordered a gin and tonic but received a gin fizz, though the waiter insisted it was the correct drink. I ordered the beef fillet medium, but it wasn't cooked to the correct doneness and was more like a well-done fillet. I went to the Klinkerburg restaurant near the train station in Oldenburg for lunch and was really pleasantly surprised. The food is definitely on a higher level, but without any fuss – simply well-prepared, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The whole place has a retro style that doesn't feel artificial at all, but rather cozy and somehow "authentic." You sit there, feel comfortable, and can tell that someone has good taste – both in the food and the ambiance. All in all: I'm full, satisfied, and had a really great meal. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed the monthly special featuring asparagus. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended. The food and drinks are beautifully presented and decorated. Everything there is truly worth every penny. I've never eaten better. The armchairs are comfortable, and we also loved the Art Nouveau ambiance. The staff was very friendly. It's wonderful that such a welcoming and good restaurant still exists today, when every place seems to be trying too hard to be "hip" but unfortunately can't manage more than student workers and uncomfortable, cheap chairs 🙄 We will definitely be back
