Kuchenbar is a must see in Regensburg. The cakes are delicious and location in Stadtamhof is really pretty too. Unfortunately it’s rather small, so you need to be lucky or sit on the stairs opposite the café. Beverages are solid, unfortunately there’s no matcha yet. Prices are okay, many people come to pick up cake on the weekends. They also do some kind of breakfast.

I went to Kuchenbar around lunchtime and had a slice of pistachio tart, it was delicious. The place is cozy, warm, and feels like a small, welcoming coffee shop. They have a wide variety of pies, tarts, cakes, and beverages, there’s also a brunch menu. Note: cash only
